Alaskan fabric

My son came back from Alaska with 6 1/2 yard cuts of fabric from Alaskan designers. I combined them with coordinating fabrics from my stash and made many strip sets. These were cut into 3” strips and combined into longer strips

I used a black background and varied the heights of the strips.

It ended up queen sized and I am not completely pleased. Wish I had done narrower black strips. I will see if I like it better after I quilt it. And I also get to try again, as I only used half the strips!!
